Savannah Tiny Home

The Indigo Escape is a 26-foot Savannah model tiny house on wheels built by Cornerstone Tiny Homes.

Currently listed as a vacation rental on Airbnb, it provides every amenity needed for maximum comfort during your stay.

The home sits on a custom-built, three-axle trailer, and on the exterior is a removable bar top, propane tankless water heater, and a vent for the cooking appliances.

Upon entering the home, you’ll find a spacious living room to your right. The living room holds a large sofa and several other pieces of furniture with lots of room to spare.

Above the living room is the first loft sleeping area, which has a full size bed. In this loft, and just outside of it, are circular windows framed in a beautiful, vibrant red — the main accent color in this home.

This loft is accessed using a ladder which can be stowed away on dedicated hanging hardware next to the loft when not in use.

Immediately to the left of the front door is the kitchen.

In the kitchen, and throughout different areas of the home, are horizontal roller windows which fill the home with natural light. The window over the interior seating area opens up to the bar top on the exterior. Above this window is the home’s mini-split heating and air conditioning unit.

In addition to beautiful, quartz countertops, the kitchen has upper and lower cabinets, a dishwasher, a 24-inch stainless steel sink, three-burner induction cooktop, and a convection microwave. Across from the induction cooktop is an apartment-sized, stainless steel refrigerator.

Next to the refrigerator is a flat-panel barn door which leads to the bathroom.

A combo washer/dryer unit is cleverly tucked into the space beneath the stairs to the second loft. Next to the washer/dryer is a large pantry which can be used to hold food or other kitchen items, or for general storage.

The second loft is directly above the kitchen and has a queen size bed. Behind the bed is space for hanging clothing.

In the bathroom there is a large shower with a shampoo niche. The shower is adorned in white subway tiles with two bands of Listellos.

To regulate the humidity in the bathroom, the builder installed a DewStop switch (not pictured). The switch senses the amount of condensation in the room and turns the fan on and off as needed.

The bathroom vanity has a top-mount vessel sink with a large accent mirror above it. To the right of the sink is built-in shelving for additional storage.

The toilet is a standard flushing model. Above the toilet is an obscured window to maintain privacy while allowing natural light to come in. Several towel bars are conveniently placed throughout the bathroom.
