If you ever rode the school bus to school, or on a field trip, I’m pretty sure you never imagined it could one day be a beautiful home.

Well, Wind River Tiny Homes surpassed the limits of our childhood (and adult!) imaginations with this school bus conversion.

A black and white color palette is carried throughout the home and gives it an elegant look. Wood accents carefully placed in the living area complement the main colors and provide a feeling of warmth.

In the living area there is a long couch that can easily seat three to four people. In addition, there is a seating bench that can be used as a cozy reading area.

To maximize space, storage areas were built in below and next to the couch and bench.

The living area is lined with several large windows on both sides and above. The natural light brought in by the windows combined with the white walls and ceiling make the area feel spacious.

Behind the living area there is a galley-style kitchen with a great amount of countertop space.

Immediately upon entering the kitchen, there is a large washer and dryer combo unit underneath the counter. Above the counter there are two open shelves. The shelves can be used for additional storage or to place decorative items on.

Further along the counter area, there is a large farmhouse sink with cabinets beneath it. Next to the sink there is a large, ceiling-height pantry.

On the other side of the kitchen there is a built-in induction cooktop, more cabinets, and drawers. Next to that countertop area, there is a full-sized refrigerator.

The floor of the living area is covered with black, fish scale / scalloped flooring.

Behind the sink is a contrasting, white fish scale / scalloped backsplash and a circular window.

After passing the kitchen, you will find a bathroom that is quite large. A bathroom of this size is typically common in a normal-sized home. However, the fact that it is in a school bus makes it that much more impressive.

The bathroom has both a shower and a gorgeous clawfoot tub. Above the tub is a beautiful, custom stained-glass window — one of several in the home — surrounded by white subway tile with dark grout.

Behind the tub are floor to ceiling built-in cabinets and drawers.

Opposite the tub are the toilet and an ornate vanity.

Built into the bathroom is also a custom dog crate/kitty area. For an owner without pets, this area can be converted into additional storage space.

On the floor of the bathroom and the pet area are decorative, patterned black and white tiles.

At the back of this skoolie conversion is the bedroom.

In the bedroom there is another large window providing a lot of natural light. There is also another custom stained glass circular window here. Above the circular window is the air conditioning unit.
